First Day of School: Monday, July 9^th, 2007

We are very excited to have your child in our class this year! We are the “Fabulous Fish” class, and we are looking forward to a “swimmingly” great year!

Students may bring or buy their lunches. School lunch costs $1.75. If you wish to send a check, please label the check with your child’s name, 1^st grade, Janik, and their lunch number.

We will have an individual snack everyday. Nutritional snacks only please! No candy allowed!

Classroom Supplies Each Child Needs:

1. Book Bag

2. 1 primary composition notebook (no spiral please!)

3. 2 plastic pocket folders with front pockets and prongs

(One blue and one yellow)

4. $5.00 check for Scholastic News Magazine

5. 1 box of crayons (24 or less)

6. 2 sharpened No. 2 pencils

7. 1 large pink eraser

8. 2 glue sticks

9. 1 pair of standard primary scissors

10. 1 zipper pouch that holds all necessary supplies. (No boxes!)

Optional Supplies Needed by the Whole Class:

Wet wipes, Clorox wipes, gallon and/or sandwich baggies, sanitizer, Kleenex, address labels, extra snacks

Please label all personal items with a permanent marker.
