Meet the Teacher: Thursday, July 5^th, 2007 from 2:00-4:00

First Day of School: Monday, July 9^th, 2007

We want to welcome you and your child to first grade, track one! We are very excited to have your child in our class this year! We are looking forward to getting to know you and your child over the next year! Below you will find some helpful information to make the first days of school run smoothly.

Students may bring or buy their lunches from the cafeteria. School lunch costs $1.75 this year. If you wish to send in checks, please label them with your child’s name, 1^st grade, track 1, Hale, and your child’s lunch number if you know it.

We will have snack everyday. Please send in one healthy snack. You may include juice or water as well.

Classroom Supplies Each Child Needs:

* Book Bag (without wheels)

* 2 composition notebooks (without spirals)

* 2 plastic folders with pockets

*crayons or colored pencils

*supply pouch for pencils/crayons (optional)

* $5.00 for Scholastic News Magazine

* 1 container of Baby wipes

* 1 box of Kleenex

* 1 container of Clorox or Lysol wipes

* Gallon or sandwich size Ziploc bags

* Printer address labels 1”x 2.63” or 2” x 4” (please send in one size)

Optional Supplies to be used by whole class:

Colored pencils Markers Pencil cap erasers

Please label all personal items with a permanent marker (including: book bag, lunch box, jacket, etc).
