From
the Desk of Track OneDear Parents and
students,
Welcome to a new and exciting year at
West Lake Elementary. The third grade curriculum is full of educational
activities that will prove to be challenging and fun. There is no doubt; we
will be busy this year!
This is a crucial year for third
graders because they will experience more activities at an intermediate level,
rather than a primary level. They will read texts with content area material,
learn how to write upper and lower cursive letters, master multiplication,
complete and present research projects and much more! Third grade is also the
year they learn basic organizational skills. The following list of supplies
will be most helpful keeping your child organized for a successful year. These
supplies are available at Wal-Mart, Target, Office Max, Office Depot,
etc…. If you are unable to obtain any of
these supplies, please let us know.
