First Day of School: Monday, July 7th
We
are very excited to have your child in our class. We are also excited to begin
a fun, yet productive year. I hope you
find the information below to be helpful.
Students
may bring or buy their lunches. School lunch costs $1.75 this year. If you wish
to send a check, please label the check with your child’s name, 1st
grade, Walker, and their lunch number (if you know it from last year).
Please
send a healthy snack each day. You may include juices or water as well.
Classroom Supplies Each Child Needs:
1.
Book Bag (no
wheels)

$3.00 (I will be
purchasing binders.)
3.
$5.00 for
Scholastic News Magazine (make checks payable to WLE)
4.
1 zipper pouch
(big enough for crayons, 2 pencils, 1 glue stick, eraser, and scissors)
5.
1 composition
notebook (not spiral)
6.
1 yellow plastic folder with pockets and
prongs in middle
7.
1 green plastic folder with pockets and
prongs in the middle
8.
1 box of crayons
(24 count)
9.
1 rectangle
eraser (hand held, pink)
10. 1 package of plastic page protectors
Optional Supplies the Whole Class Needs:
baby
wipes colored pencils kleenex ziploc bags plastic spoons/forks
Please
label all personal items with a permanent marker (including: book bag, lunch
box, jacket, etc.)
