Welcome Rising Second Grade Students!

Mrs. Stanton and Mrs. Thompson are looking forward to meeting each of you and are already planning a great year of learning for our classes! We are excited about the new opportunities we all have to grow and learn together! We are looking forward to meeting you on Thursday, June 19 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in our classrooms! Look for your names outside the rooms and our signs over our classroom doors.

On this page you will find a list of classroom supplies we’d like you to bring to class no later than the end of the first week of school, which begins on Monday, July 7. Have a great start to the month of July, and we will see you soon!

2^nd Grade Student Supply List

A box of crayons or colored pencils

Small pencil pouch (fits in the desk better than a box)

Glue stick (please, no Elmer’s glue)

3 sharpened pencils and 2 sharpened pencils each Monday

2 70 page wide ruled spiral notebooks

3 pocket folders, one red, one blue and one yellow (do not

label)

One box of Kleenex to share with the class

One box of “baby wipes” to share. (Please do not send Lysol, Clorox, etc. wipes.)
