· One three-ring binder large enough to hold: a zipper supply bag, their agenda (purchased from school), seven subject pocket folders and some extra notebook paper (this will be taken home every afternoon)

· They will need a total of nine folders with pockets and three holes that clip into their three-ring binders (the more indestructible the better)

· Two separate, one subject, spiral bound notebooks (these are used as a subject and a personal journal)

· A one-inch three-ring binder for writing,  “Writing Workshop Binder”, with one of the clip-in pocket folders (this will stay at school most of the time)

· Two folders with a pocket and three prongs (brads) for Spanish and a personal dictionary

· A pack of notebook paper, about 1/8 of an inch kept in their binder and the rest will remain at home to access when needed

· A zipper bag to be clipped into their three-ring binder that will hold supplies

· They are responsible for having 3 pencils sharpened at the beginning of each day, five extra pencils are stored in the zipper bag

· A small pencil sharpener with a lid

· One pen for checking and editing

· Large eraser

· One Dry-Erase marker and a clean old sock to wipe off Dry-Erase board (provided)
